Disturbed , my aching soul erupts,
My mind perplexed, my spirit low;
I seek You Lord, Your voice cries out
Be still! Be still, and know.
When pressures bear at work and play,
Distract, disrupt my need to grow.

I search contentment, life fulfilled;
Passing interests all I know.
I seek You Lord, Your voice cries out

Around me those I love so dear;
My prayer, on them Your Grace bestow.

The storms of Life are blowing strong,
My anchor strains as waters grow;
I seek You Lord, Your voice cries out

And all this time, feel insecure,
Helpless, tired, nowhere to go.
I seek You Lord, Your voice cries out

Tis then I sense, dispersing gloom,
A Strength to guide me from such woe.
I seek You Lord, Your voice cries out

A glimpse of Light, You hear my prayer,
You speak; all round calm waters flow.
You've found me, Lord, My heart cries out
I'm still! I'm still, and know.
FEAR NOT I AM WITH YOU
I am afraid, but only if I forget
That Jesus said "Fear not I am with you."
I fear loneliness, but only if I forget
That God has said "I will never leave you
Or forsake you."
Some times my burdens weigh me down,
But only if I forget that Jesus said
"My peace I give you. Do not let your heart be troubled."
I am often anxious about tomorrow,
But only if I forget that Jesus said
"Your heavenly Father knows your need before you ask"
I think I am not loved,
But only when I forget that God has said
"I have loved you with an everlasting love."
I tremble when I remember my sin,
But only if I forget that God has said
"Your sins and iniquities I will remember no more."
I worry about material things,
But only if I forget that Jesus said
"Seek first the kingdom of God
And all you need my Father will give you.
I fear death, but only when I forget,
That Jesus said "I am going to prepare a place for you
That where I am you may also be."
JESUS SAID:
"I AM WITH YOU ALWAYS".
